Stylit privacy policy

Information Stylit processes

• Photos you select or capture, including garment photos, photos of clothing being worn, avatar reference photos, and generated images.
• Closet and styling information, including garment details, outfit history, preferences, feedback, and an optional profile name.
• Optional height, weight, and usual clothing size when you choose to provide them for avatar generation.
• Approximate foreground location coordinates when you grant permission. They are used to retrieve local weather for outfit suggestions. Stylit does not request background location.
• Operational job records needed to complete and troubleshoot requested generations.

How the information is used

The information is used only to provide the features you request: identifying garments, organizing your closet, creating an avatar, generating try-on results, making outfit recommendations, including relevant weather, and maintaining the service. Stylit does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics.

AI processing and service providers

A hosted Stylit operator may configure Google Gemini and, for eligible single-garment try-ons, FASHN. Only the inputs needed for the requested operation are sent to the configured provider. Provider processing is governed by that provider's terms and privacy practices. Infrastructure providers may also process data as needed to host the application, database, and image storage.

Storage and retention

Photos, generated images, closet records, preferences, and job history are stored on the Stylit backend selected by the service operator. They remain there until the related item is deleted, the operator clears the deployment, or you request deletion. Stylit does not currently promise an automatic deletion period.

Generated images are synthetic and may contain provider provenance marks. Treat avatar and try-on images with the same care as the source photos.

Your choices

• You can decline photo, camera, or location permission.
• Location is optional; outfit suggestions still work without local weather.
• Height, weight, clothing size, and profile name are optional.
• You may request access to or deletion of hosted data through the support page.

Children

Stylit is not directed to children under 13. Do not upload a child's face or body photos unless you are legally authorized to do so.
